Claudia Sabina Wellness Coaching Philosophy

At the heart of my coaching philosophy is a deep belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, and whole. Coaching, to me, is not about fixing what is broken. It is about empowering women to reconnect with who they truly are beneath the layers of guilt, people-pleasing, and societal expectations.

My journey into coaching began when my baby was just three months old. I had recently left an abusive marriage and was navigating the chaos of early motherhood while healing from trauma. I remember feeling lost and disconnected from myself, unsure of who I was beyond being a mother. Over time, I learned to reclaim my identity, trust my intuition, and create a life that felt authentic and aligned with my values. Today, I bring my lived experiences of trauma, disability, and neurodivergence into my coaching practice, helping women feel seen, understood, and supported exactly as they are.

Many of the women I work with feel lost or uncertain about who they are beyond the roles they play. Together, we bring awareness to where they are now and the impact this has on their wellbeing, relationships, and sense of purpose. We then explore where they want to be, what they truly desire for their lives, and identify the beliefs and stories that may have kept them small.

We address limiting beliefs, both conscious and hidden, and replace them with empowering truths. I provide practical tools, mindset techniques, and lifestyle shifts that help women build self-awareness, resilience, and lasting change. The transformation is often visible as a spark returns to their eyes. They stand taller, speak with confidence, and begin making choices that reflect who they truly are. They feel connected to themselves, moving through life with ease, confidence, and self-acceptance. Whether it is applying for a promotion, setting a boundary in a relationship, or simply trusting themselves in everyday life, they reclaim their identity and thrive in motherhood and beyond.

My coaching draws on over 20 years of experience in nursing, leadership, and professional advocacy. I understand the pressures of balancing professional demands with personal life, self-care, and identity. As a Professional Nurse Advocate, I am trained to hold space with compassion, integrity, and respect, ensuring every person I work with feels safe, seen, and empowered to explore their truth. I approach coaching from a trauma-informed perspective, recognising how generational patterns, neglect, and past experiences shape beliefs and behaviours.

I am also a certified Fear of Success Instructor, which allows me to guide women through the unconscious blocks that hold them back from reaching their potential in relationships, career, or personal growth. Coupled with my coaching training, I provide strategies to help women break free from limiting beliefs, develop self-compassion, and create tangible change in their lives.

My mission is to help women reclaim their identity, step into their confidence, and thrive as mothers, professionals, and their truest selves. I am committed to creating a space where every woman feels seen, heard, and supported, regardless of background, experience, or challenges. I believe change is possible for every woman, and that the ripple effect of this change extends beyond her own life to her family, community, and future generations.

My coaching is guided by my core values of inclusion, advocacy, authenticity, empowerment, and self-awareness. I aim to lift women up, helping them recognise their strength even in moments of doubt, celebrate their resilience, and trust in their capacity to create the life they desire. Every woman I work with is reminded that she is worthy, capable, and deserving of love, respect, and joy. Thriving in motherhood and life is not only possible; it is her birthright.

Why am I a life and self love coach?

I have always wanted to help people, it was my initial motivation for training to become a nurse and has stayed with me over the 20 years I have worked in the NHS (coming up to 18 years as a registered nurse). Being a confidant comes naturally to me and being able to put people at ease has been an integral part of my success as a nurse. I realised I wanted to change direction after having my little boy but didn't really know how. I was frustrated at the lack of support for women during the transition into motherhood. I am lucky that being an older mum (I was 35 when I had my son) I had quite a few friends who were already mothers and could provide support and reassurance to me especially when in overwhelm I was worrying about things like getting a routine in place for a two week old baby (they talked me out of that!). I was lucky to come across a programme that focused on mental wellbeing for expectant and new mothers. This programme and the support from my experienced friends completely helped me with this transition to motherhood.

Time and time again we hear that "it takes a village to raise a child", this can be quite disconcerting if you do not live nearby family or they are unable to help because they still work, are in poor health or just don't want to! It can be incredibly isolating and having been a single mum since my son was 3 months old I often felt very alone. I was worried about saying anything about my struggles as I kept being told to "enjoy every minute" but actually being a mum is hard and nothing can truly prepare you for this transition.

The reason I chose to qualify as a coach is to make sure other women don't have to feel the same. Life coaching helps you to unlock the knowledge and skills you need to go from feeling overwhelmed and frazzled to fabulous and thriving. Every skill I use during my coaching sessions has been tried and tested by many people and I have tried them all on myself before adding them into my sessions. I used these skills as part of my toolkit to recover from postnatal depression after the birth of my daughter alongside professional support. I am excited to share this knowledge with you and see the transformation in your life.

How has self love and life coaching changed my life?

I have clarity on my goals and have a clear vision of how I want to live my life. I didn't have great work/ life balance and wasn't feeling aligned with my job and my values which was impacting me both physically and emotionally. Gaining clarity and confidence through increasing my own self love gave me the courage to make changes to my life and set up this business helping others. I have used coaching techniques to conquer limiting beliefs that were holding me back and changed my mindset. I am guided by my intuition and am absolutely loving the changes that are happening in my life. My clients are having fantastic changes (see testimonials) and I am thrilled to continue helping women daily.
